Flood Relief

Please continue to pray for our Pajaro Men’s Center, Pajaro Rescue Mission, Staff, Students, Volunteers, Guests and their families. We are grateful to the church family in Salinas hosting our men at this time.

In early March 2023 the Pajaro River’s levee broke and caused devastating flood damage to homes, businesses and farmland.  We are able to access the property and start cleaning up beginning with food spoilage, disposing of massive amounts of damaged property and clearing mud. Assessments still need to be made of the water, mud and mold damage to what remains.  We do not have flood insurance and will need to replace our washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, ovens and water heaters in our various buildings.  Please consider an emergency donation.  Thank you.

Residential Recovery

The benefits of Teen Challenge’s long-term residential recovery program are many. Our program is a minimum of 13 months and we have found that those who complete the full program are more likely to stay sober, have a higher level of employment, have less mental health challenges, less legal consequences, and fewer family problems because they learn an entirely new way of living.
